Trace Associates Ltd. (TAL) is a limited company incorporated under Cap 212 of the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania with Certificate of Incorporation No. 31449 issued on 7th February, 1997. Trace Associate is an indigenous enterprise wholly owned by Tanzanians comprising three directors and several associates and support staff. All three directors are professionals in the fields of valuation (including Computerization of fixed assets register) estate agency, property management and project appraisal.  One of the directors specializes in financial analysis. 

TAL has ten qualified valuers including the directors. To supplement its expertise in industrial valuation, TAL may seek the services of industrial specialist. The firm has a close working relationship with other global professional institutions like African Real Estate Society (AFRES).

Employee Integrity /Ethics:

Valuation Surveyors are compelled by Law; Professional Surveyors (Registration) Act 1977 to register with the Council otherwise they are not supposed to practice.  All our employees are supervised by Fully Registered Surveyors. Generally all our valuation staff must subscribe to the following:

  • That they have the necessary qualifications
  • They have the appropriate experience or expertise
  • They have no conflict of interest in the valuations they perform
  • Meets any other condition as imposed or required by the client or their advisors or users of the valuation reports or certificates.

ALBIN EVARIST

DIRECTOR & BOARD CHAIRMAN

Mr. Albin Evarist is a qualified and experienced valuer and financial analyst.  He has been in the field for about 21 years now, having worked with UCLAS and Property Bureau (T) Ltd both in Dar es Salaam and Mamuka Valuers of Nairobi.

Mr. Evarist holds an Msc. in Finance from the UK (2002) and  an Advanced Diploma in Land Management and Valuation from Ardhi Institute (now University College of Lands and Architectural Studies-UCLAS) (1992). He also holds a Diploma in Education from Mkwawa CNE (1985).

He is fully registered with the National Council of Professional Surveyors and he is a fellow member of the Institution of Valuers and Estate Agents (TIVEA) and member of African Real Estate Society (AFRES)

KAISHAZA P. BENGESI

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Bengesi is a well seasoned valuer and Land Management professional having been in the field for over 30 years now.  He graduated from Ardhi Institute in 1978.  He worked with the Ministry of Lands and Human Settlements for over ten years, first as a Regional Valuer in Kagera region and later in Mwanza Municipality.  In 1987 he joined the private sector where he accumulated a lot of experience from various firms.

Mr. Bengesi is the co-founder of TAL. He is fully registered with the National Council of Professional Surveyors and a Fellow Member of the Tanzania Institute of Valuers and Estate Agents (FTIVEA).

PASCHAL KAZUNGU

DIRECTOR

Mr. Pascal holds an Advanced Diploma in Land Management and Valuation from Ardhi Institute (now Ardhi University). He has twenty One years experience in the field of valuation and property management.   He first worked with UCLAS as Consultant and Proper Consult (T) Ltd., and later joined TAL at the end of 1998. 

He is fully registered with the National Council of professional Surveyors and is an associate Member of the Institution of Surveyors of Tanzania (IST) and Fellow Members of Tanzania Institution of Valuers and Estate Agents (FTIVEA). He is also a member of the African Real Estate Society (AFRES).
